Spring Break

Spring break in Montreal, what better time to go on a little train trip and to check out job possibilities in neighboring communities… The trip was a bit of an adventure. Due to a derailed freight train, passengers waited two hours in Cornwall, Ontario, while crews finished clearing the track. As compensation for the delay, passengers received free snacks, coffee and internet.

thumbnail.jpg click here to see more pictures. Last weekend I visited Michael Waterman’s studio in Guelph, Ontario. It was filled with interesting objects, audio equipment, old musical instruments. He transformed the inside of a garage into a house of invention, where he produces interesting sights and sounds.

Making It Montreal, Exhibit One

Tuesday March 2nd, the public was invited to  celebrate the opening of the first “Making it Montreal” art exhibit at Casa del Popolo, featuring new works by some of Montreal’s best emerging artists: Kiarra Albina, Tyler Rauman, Aimee Van Drimmelen,  Jesse Purcell and Harley Smart.
