Expozine 2009, Montreal

aaa3.jpg click here to see more pictures. The eighth annual Expozine fair happened this weekend in the plateau of Montreal. Nearly three hundred people presented their work in the basement of the Eglise Saint-Enfant Jesus. Organizer Louis Rastelli invited me to take pictures of this cultural event, featuring literary publications, comics, magazines, posters, cards, buttons, art object and artwork. It was a delight for the eye, and a lively, friendly event.

Lake of Stew, Sweet as Pie Album launch at Sala Rosa

Lovely Seaside Squirrels

aaa2.jpg click here to see more photos. November is a magical month for me. Leaves fall, the sky darkens and turns cold, plus my younger daughter was born. Brother Ken came over for a visit. I made an offering prayer to Oogah, the anthropomorphic representative of God, in the back yard. Some amazing automobiles keep popping into view, bright orange, luminous green.

aaa.jpg click here to see more pictures. Malina dressed up as Corpse Bride, as from the Tim Burton movie. The next day, she put on 3d glasses to sort through Halloween candy. I visited Aziz, padrone, on the phone.
