I would describe it like swimming. Imagine you’re swimming through hot salt water. At one point I felt dizzy. Colors flashed and shapes became vivid. The whole visual field came to life. I went to El Amigo restaurant with Tom Pinson and Malina, an old favorite place of ours to eat. It has a colorful interior and some old style bubble gum machines. It’s an inexpensive, unpretentious place to eat and the papousa’s taste great. I like the bean and cheese ones the best.

Malina, Elena and I went to an airconditioned restaurant for pizza and afterwards took a drive up to St. Joseph’s Oratory. The oratory is a powerful place. Each visit I discover something new. I never get tired of going there.
